The Louisiana Society of Radiologic Technologist (LSRT) is your voice on legislative issues in Baton Rouge.  The LSRT pays a professional lobbyist to inform the LSRT when proposed legislative matters may affect current laws governing licensure of radiology professionals in Louisiana.

 

The LSRT is a source of high quality continuing education.  The LSRT conducts at least 2 educational meetings per year.  One meeting is held in February or March, the Mid-Winter Seminar.  The other meeting is held in late July or early August, the Annual Meeting.  The LSRT also offers educational resources available to members on a requested basis for keeping up with those CE points.

 

The LSRT is your communication link on professional matters.  The LSRT provides it members with a top quality publication The Focal Spot Monitor to relate issues to the membership.

The LSRT funds two appointees to represent Louisiana in the ASRT House of Delegates, and to obtain information regarding the issues being pursued by the ASRT.  These appointees then relate this information back to the members of the LSRT.

The LSRT needs you, your time, talents, and resources to assist the organization in maintaining its top quality offerings to you.
